Rules

Please read over all rules and abide by them.  There really aren't any good excuses for breaking them.  Breaking these rules could result in suspension or even being banned from the guild.  Please remember that rules are created to provide members with a peaceful and fun environment.  If you have any questions or comments regarding the guild rules, please neomail nan_guardian.

General

• All guild events must be approved by nan_guardian.

• Do not create an account with the "nan_" prefix without approval from nan_guardian.  If you do, that account will be banned from the guild.  All guild accounts should have the rank of Power in the NAN members listing.  When in doubt, ask a council member.

• If a member feels they were mistreated in any way and can not seem to resolve the issue on their own without breaking the rules, please feel free to contact a council member and they will try to help you resolve the issue in a civil manner.

Message Board

• The purpose of a guild message board is to meet other guild members, receive help from or give help to other guild members, and to have fun.  Negativity and/or foul language will NOT be tolerated.  If you have a problem with the guild or a member of the guild, please take it up with them privately, NOT on the message boards.

• DO NOT SPAM!  Spam - to post irrelevant or inappropriate messages in deliberate or accidental violation of netiquette.  Netiquette - etiquette practiced or used in electronic communication over a computer network.  For example:  DO NOT post messages like, "I'm bored," " Hi," "BRB" or any other useless messages.  This also includes ongoing messages regarding the details of your personal life.  For example: The guild does not need to know what you did with your mate over the weekend.

• DO NOT BEG!  Begging for neopoints, free items, promotions, etc. will get you nothing but a warning and possible suspension.

• DO NOT BE RUDE!  Rudeness to anyone will not be tolerated.  Disputes, arguments, and negative discussions are not allowed.  As previously stated, if you have a problem with someone, take it up with them privately.

• NO ADVERTISING!  Do not advertise your shop or trades on the message boards.  It takes up to much space and can be a nuisance to other members. The guild's advertising area is located in our ezBoard forum and is to post gallery, shop and trade lot ads ONLY!   Therefore, there is no need to post ads on our message board.

• Please do not talk about your neopoints or how many rare items you have on the message board.  Also, do not ask others about their neopoints or rare items.  By speaking of these things in a public forum you are putting yourself at risk of your account being hacked into.

• Do not reprimand other members for breaking guild rules.  If you see another member break a guild rule, do not discuss it on the message board, it causes embarrassment and hurt feelings.  Do not neomail them about a broken rule either.  The way to handle such a situation is to copy and paste the post into a neomail, state when and who posted the message and send the neomail to nan_guardian and any council member or board monitor that appears to be available at the time.

Power Mall

• Your Neopets account must be at least two weeks old to order from NAN's guild shops.

• Always be sure to read each individual guild shop's guidelines.  Most shop guidelines are very similar, though some shop guidelines do vary.

• When requesting an item from a guild shop, be sure to neomail the shop manager specific details of your request.  If you do not, your order may be ignored and/or deleted with no explanation.  Be sure to enter your correct neoname with the guild, complete trade lot urls and complete trade lot numbers.  Please do not waste our time with false information.  We always check the information that you place your order with.

• Please be patient when waiting for your order to be filled.  It may take up to a couple weeks for any order to be filled.  Shop managers try to get to orders as soon as possible, but sometimes things happen (such as vacations, family emergencies, computer breakdowns, etc.) and a manager may not be able to get online for an extended period of time.

• If you have not received your order within two weeks time please do not be rude about it.  There is probably a reason for it.  Inside of each guild shop you should find the name of the shop manager.  Kindly send them ONE neomail asking them what happened with your order.  Shop managers will not respond to rude neomails and your order may be deleted.  If you have followed these guidelines and your order still hasn't been filled, please notify nan_mall and contact a council member.
